Albert was born in 1884, the son of John Foxcroft and Emma Hardy. [1]
In 1910, Albert Broadbent Foxcroft married Ethel May Buchanan.[2]
He passed away in 1938. Death Article: Mr. A. V. Foxcroft. When the liner Aorangi arrived at Sydney yesterday it was revealed that Mr. A. V. Foxcroft, assistant librarian at the Melbourne Public Library, had died during the voyage. The body was buried at sea. Mr. Foxcroft, who was 51 years of age, travelled in Canada and the United States on a Carnegie scholarship. Shortly after the Aorangi sailed Mr. Foxcroft became ill, and died on the day before Auckland was reached.[3] Note that the middle initial is incorrect in the news article.
