No proof has been given to say Ruth (Foxe) Symonds was the daughter of John and Catherine (Crickemer) Foxe. The reasons are circumstantial: the name match, a plausible baptism date and the parish, which is the same as her marriage parish. Also, John and Ruth Symonds had a daughter named Katherine.
