Hello Lesley,

My name is Sarah and I’m the Project Coordinator for the Scotland Project. As you may have heard, we have merged the Scottish Clans project into the Scotland Project. I am contacting you today to find out if you are interested in continuing with us under this new format. If you would like to go forward on the Scottish Clans Team, please reply and let me know which clans you have been working on or would like to work on. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,

Sarah Mason, Scotland PC

Hi Lesley,

The Ireland Project (previously the Irish Roots Project) has now changed its structure into Teams. We require everyone with the Ireland Badge to be a member of at least one Team or Sub-Team and our google group. See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Ireland for details. The Teams are :-

1. Categories Team 2. Counties Team 3. Managed Profiles Team 4. Membership Team 5. Profile Improvement Team 6. Topics Team 7. Diaspora ? Can you let me know if you’d like to stay on in the new project and which team(s) you’d like to join. Please also let me know your e-mail address so that I can get you added to the project’s Google Group or confirm you are already a member of the google group.

Many thanks,

mary waite was my 2nd grandmother on my dads side she lived on PEI .her father was born on the ship his parents left england or ireland on.

Seen your 'thank you' for my Gatt profiles. I've seen on your profile you are researching Gatt also.

Are you still looking for data? You can order birth certificates from Malta with the data you already have.

You can see resources on the Space:Malta page for Maltese research.

I soooo apologize for giving you any false hope on an Adam connection. I accidentally put "Adam" for Hannah, & it's actually Allen. I probably wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for your "Thank you", & my wanting to see who thanked me & why. I was excited when I thought there was another connection with someone through my family lineage. Sorry about that. Good luck with your "Adam" connections. I seem to have some Scottland connections, too, so we just might connect somehow again.

Hi Lesley , Thanks for your message.

I've added the two project badges to your profile. If you click on each of the badges they will take you to the full list of our wonderful members. Click on Scottish Clans Project will take you the first page of eash project. Similarly with the Irish Roots Project I've also added your name to the member interests page for both projects. Here you can let others know what you are researching etc.

Thanks again for joining and enjoy. Maria

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Hello Lesley -

Welcome to Wikitree! I'm so glad you found us!

Each Tag should be a single surname like SMITH or single location like CANADA with a comment explaining why this subject interests you.
