William Allen Fraley was born on April 20, 1873[1] in Arkansas. In 1880, he lived in Big Creek Township, Sebastian County, Arkansas.[2]
William married Dora Effie Matlock on October 11, 1894 in Crawford County, Arkansas.[3] After his marriage, he lived in Rogers Township, Sebastian County, Arkansas. He worked as a day laborer and in the coal mines to earn a living.[4]
In 1910, he lived in Depew, Creek County, Oklahoma. He rented his farm and farmed to earn a living.[5] In 1918, he lived in Mckey, Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. At age 45, he stood 5 feet and 11 inches tall, stout, black hair and gray colored eyes. When he registered for the draft, he reported his left ankle was weak and he had piles (hemorrhiods).[1]
In 1930, he lived in Chandler, Comanche County, Oklahoma. He continued to live on a farm and make his living farming.[6] Some time after 1935, he left Oklahoma and lived on 5th Street in Eloy, Pinal County, Arizona. He no longer lived on a farm, but worked as a farm laborer.[7]
In 1950, he moved back to Oklahoma and lived in Drumright, Creek County. At age 76, he lived with his wife Dora and was unable to work.[8]
William died on June 15, 1953 in Oklahoma. He was buried at Old Elgin Cemetery in Elgin, Comanche County, Oklahoma.[9]
