Biography

I am not certain he had a middle name. The middle name Thompson is an artifact of the erroneous assumption that this is the same James T. Frame who married Susannah Baird in 1862.

Son of James Frame and Mary Ann Thompson.

Husband of Angeline Harrell or Harritt, 1827-1852.

Father of Erastus H. Frame, Samuel Mc. (possibly Samantha?) Frame, and John E. Frame.

1850 Census, Iroquois, Jasper, Indiana: James Frame age 30 b Ohio; Angeline Frame age 23 b Indiana; Erastus H Frame age 4 b IL; Samuel ? (looks like Samuel Mc. Frame) Frame age 3 b IL; John E Frame age 1 b IL. [1]

1860 Census, Onarga, Iroquois, Illinois; James's wife is Mary, age 26, b Indiana. Same person as wife Angeline? They are neighbors to the Rounsavells.

J. Frame age 39 b Ohio; Mary Frame age 26 b Indiana; Erustas Frame age 14 b IL; Samantha Frame age 11 b IL; John Frame age 10 b IL: Almida Frame age 9 b IL; James H. Frame age 3 b IL: Mary J. Frame age 1 b IL. [2]

Research Notes

Death date and place come from a FamilySearch tree. No death or marriage record found.

The FamilySearch tree points to James T. Frame, "Ohio, County Marriages, 1789-2013" married 18 Apr 1844 in Ohio, but I cannot find the marriage record in this source.

This is NOT the same James Thompson Frame who married Susannah Baird in Guernsey County, Ohio. That James Thompson Frame was born about 1841.[3]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with James by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with James:
