In Mar 1908, his daughter Louise E Mitchell married Stephen Sockbison in Indian Island, Knox county, Maine. Stephen was the son of Soch and Mary Anne Sullivan Sochbison. 
In 1910, Sabbattis M Francis (53) lived in Old Town City, Indian Island Indian Reservation in Penobscot county, Maine with his wife Mary A (56), son Joseph N (26), daughter-in-law Mary J (27), and grandsons Maurice (6) and Harry A (3 months). Sabbattis and Mary had been married 35 years; Mary was the mother of 7 children with 4 living. Joseph and Mary had been married 7 years; Mary had 2 children both living. Sabbattis worked as a laborer for woods and rivers; Mary and Mary were basket makers at home; Joseph was a retail merchant in a confectionary.
