Susannah Francis was born in Llanelly, Carmarthenshire, Wales.

Biography

Susannah was the daughter of Evan Francis and his wife Catherine Francis.

Susannah was born before the 10th of August 1712 when she was baptised at St Elli parish church, Llanelly. In her burial record on the 31st August 1764 also at St Elli she was recorded as aged 54. This would indicate her birth year as 1710.

Susannah never married and had no children. When she died, she was living at Trebeddod on the outskirts of Llanelly, she had inherited the farm and its lease from her mother Catherine when she died.

All the information about Susannah comes from her will written on her deathbed on the 27th August 1764 and proved (probate) on the 4th September 1764.
