Biography

Noah Francis was born on 4 Jun 1924 in Millcreek, Madison County, Missouri, United States of America, son of Edward Francis (1877 - 1942) and Safrona Ellen (Pippin) Francis (1883 - 1935). [1]

In 1930, Noah, age 6 was living at home in Central Township, Madison, Missouri, United States. He lived on a farm that his parents owned free and clear. The family continued to grow with the addition of Myrtle (8), Noah (5) and Melvin (1) in the last ten years. [1]

On 06 July, 1942, Noah registered for the World War II draft in Mill Creek, Madison, Missouri, United States. He had blue eyes, brown hair and a light complexion. [3]

Noah was discharged from the Navy on 01 Feb 1946 in St. Louis, St. Louis, Missouri, United States. He returned to his home in Mill Creek, Madison, Missouri. [4]

Noah married Nancy Ann Draper (1937 - 1993) and they had a son, John Wayne Francis (1952 - 2008) and a daughter. Nancy passed away on 19 Jul 1993 and was buried in the Revelle Cemetery in Cherokee Pass, Madison, Missouri, United States. [5]

On 17 May 1996, Noah's brother, Melvin Francis (1928 - 1996) died in Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States at the age of 67. [6]

On 23 May 2007 Noah married Dorothy Green. [7]

Noah died at the age of 91 on 23 August 2015 in Fredericktown, Madison County, Missouri, United States of America [8] and he was buried in the Revelle Cemetery in Cherokee Pass, Madison County, Missouri.[9]

Obituary: Noah Francis was born on June 4, 1924 at Millcreek, Missouri the son of Edward and Frona (Pippin) Francis and passed away on August 23, 2015 at Stockhoff Nursing Home in Fredericktown at the age of 91 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother John Francis. He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Green) Francis whom he was united in marriage to on May 23, 2007 at the United Methodist Church in Fredericktown and one daughter Connie (Bob) Coddling of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Noah served in the United States Navy and enjoyed restoring old cars and archery. Officiating; Pastor Dwight Presson. Funeral Service; 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the Follis & Sons Chapel [7]
