Biography
Harry was born on 21 December 1920 in the Dorrigo district of New South Wales. [1] He was the son of William Francis and Laura Cox.[2]
Harry married Gladys Olga Sawtell in the Bellingen district of New South Wales in 1945. [3]
Harry and Olga separated when their two (2) children were young.
Harry married for a second time in 1968 in the Bellingen district of New South Wales. His second wife Thelma Eade was a widow when they married. [4]
Harry lived for a period of time in Gloucester with his wife Thelma and later alone in Bellorana Nursing Home in Bellingen. He had a strong pleasing voice and would sing often in gaelic to celebrate special occasions. He was a competent wood craftsman who created many beautiful items for his extended family.
Harry passed away on 14 January 2010 in the Nambucca Heads district of New South Wales.[1]
