Biography
William was born in 1777.
William Francis was baptised 1 June 1777 in Gwennap, Cornwall [1]. Note: There is a possible transcription error in this baptism record. No marriage has been found between a James Francis with wife Mary in the right timeframe, but Joseph Francis married Mary Bray in 1775 in Gwennap. If the original register has Jos and Mary that could easily be misread as Jas and Mary. Other online trees claim this William to be the son of James Francis and Catherine Hopkins(Hoskin, but it is difficult to see how Catherine becomes Mary.
Ann Geach of Kea married William Francis of Gwennap in 1806 in Kea [2]
He passed away in 1830 and was buried at Gwennap on the 17th July [3].
