Biography
Abraham Francisco came from Essex County, New Jersey to Pittstown, now Rensselaeeer County, New York about 1771. He was still listed as a resident of that place in 1790. Removed to Ontario County, New York about 1814.
- He was a private in the 14th Albany County, New York Militia during the Revolution and served under Capt. De Garmo, Capt Henrick Vanderhoff, Col. Peter Yates and Lieut. John Van Rensselaer. In "Certificastes of Treasurer", a manuscript record in the Albany Library, Vol. VI, it is shown that he received pay for military services under date of June 2, 1780 and again October 26, 1780.[1]
