Hendrina Louise married Cornelis Koper (~1915 - ) on 3 Aug 1939 in Zandvoort, North Holland.
Hendrina Louise died on 8 May 1945 in Amsterdam aged 30. She attended the liberation celebration held at de Dam square in Amsterdam with her small daughter and husband, she was shot by Germans soldiers who attacked the crowd from an adjacent building and was one of 32 deaths and countless injured that day. Her husband saw the Germans on the balcony and said that this would not end good, he threw himself over his daughter to protect her from the bullets, but sadly his wife was hit several times and could not be saved, she passed away 5 minutes past midnight.
