Ida Paulina Franke was born in 1878, her birth registered Dimboola, Victoria, as Eda Paulina Frank. She is the daughter of Heinrich Wilhelm Franke and Anna Hoffman. [1]
Early 1897, Ida registered the birth of her daughter, Clara Elizabeth Franke. [2]
In 1912, when Clara was about 15, Ida married Joseph Hunter, a widower with ten children, the youngest being about eight. [3] Joseph passed away in 1932 aged 67, at Prahran, a Melbourne suburb, and was interred in the Fawkner Memorial Park.
In 1936, Ida married another widower, Leonard Fairhall. [5] Leonard passed away in 1940, aged 76 years, and was buried in the Box Hill Cemetery.
She passed away in 1962, aged 84. Her death was registered Caulfield, naming her birthplace as Dimboola, and her parents as Frank Henry Williamson and Annie Franke Hoffman. [7]
On 19th July 1962, Ida was interred in the Protestant portion of the Fawkner Memorial Park. [8]
