Biography
Charles "Charley" John Franklin was born 28 Mar 1874[1] in Sweden.[2][3][4]
According to the 1925 Iowa state census, Charles had been living in the US for 37 years (1888) and in Iowa specifically for 10 years(1915).[3] The 1910 census of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois gives an immigration date of 1885 for Charles.[5]
He married wife Anna S. about 1900[5][2][3] and had the following known children:
Floyd Albert Franklin was born 12 Apr 1900[6] in Joliet, Will County, Illinois.[7][2][3][5]
George H. Franklin was born in Illinois about 1903.[2][3][4][5]
Earnest C. Franklin was born in Pennsylvania about 1906.[2][3][5]
Charles "Charlie" R. Franklin was born in Iowa about 1919.[2][3][4][8]
Charles died sometime after 1940, possibly in Hancock County, Iowa where he was living at the time.[8]
