Biography

Ezra Thomas Franklin was born 24 Feb 1881^{[1][2][3][4][5][6]} to Benjamin Franklin and Catherine "Kate" Petty.^[7][8]

When he registered for the draft in 1918 during WWI, he was a College President on the Kentucky Board of Education, described as being tall and of medium build with blue eyes and light hair.^[1]

He married Olive Grace Ralston,^[9][4][5] daughter of William Ralston and Mary Kinser, on 04 Jun 1907 in Hamilton County, Ohio^[7][6] and the couple had the following known children:

1. W. Ralston Franklin was born about 1912 in Illinois.^[5][6]
2. M. Gail Franklin was born about 1916 in Kentucky.^[5][6]
3. E.^[5] Thomas Franklin was born about 1923 in Kentucky.^[4]
