Albert E.[1] Franklin was born 29 Apr 1901,[2][3][4] to Edward A. Franklin and Mary S. "Maggie" Walker.[5][6][7]
He first married Mildred F.[4][1] and the couple had the following known children:
Arthur F. Franklin was born about 1921[4] in New York.[1]
John E. Franklin was born about 1923[4] in New York.[1]
He married his second wife Lynda (Galbraith) Phelps on 24 Nov 1979.[8]
Albert died 10[8] Sep 1981[2] and is buried in Newport Cemetery, Newport, Herkimer County, New York.[3]

Lynda Phelps Franklin, 88, formerly of 10 Clinton Street, passed away February 8, 2005, at the Presbyterian Home. She was born February 14, 1916, in Wallkill, NY, a daughter of Lynden and Emma Marcy Galbraith. Lynda was united in marriage to Clark Phelps on February 20, 1936; he died on June 9, 1969. She later married Albert Franklin on November 24, 1979; he died on September 10, 1981. She was formerly employed at the Square Stamp Co. in Barneveld. She was a member of the Remsen United Methodist Church. Lynda is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Ronald Hall of Whitesboro; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Cheryl Phelps of Remsen, and Bruce and Theresa Phelps of Remsen; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Richards of Plattsburgh, and Jane Klosner of Boonville; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two special nieces, Diana Johnston of Plattsburgh, and Kathleen Klosner of Boonville. She was predeceased by two brothers, Lincoln and Wilson Galbraith. The funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Fairchild Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ackley-Barry Funeral Home, 9597 Main Street, Remsen. Memorial contributions may be made to Remsen United Methodist Church, Whitesboro Fire Department or the Presbyterian Home. The family wishes to thank Dr. Thomas Spath, and staff of the Presbyterian Home of CNY, Brian Beckingham, of the Mary Buck Apartments of Whitesboro, and two special friends, Vicky Garfola and John Bevins, for their love, care and compassion extended to Lynda.
