Robert Franklin was born 30 Sep 1799^[1] in Virginia.^[2][3]

1. Sarah Franklin was born about 1834 in Indiana.^[2]
2. Mariah Franklin was born about 1841 in Indiana.^[2]

He married the widow, Sarah^[2] "Sally" Boggs on 21 Ju n1848 in Wayne County, Indiana.^[4][3]

Robert died 20 Jun 1884 at his home in Clay Township, Wayne County, Indiana^[5] and is buried in Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wayne County, Indiana.^[1]
