Biography

John was born in 1738. He is the son of John Franklin and Huldah Arnold. [1]

According to payroll records, John served in Connecticut 1st Regiment in 1762. [2]

Later, John fought alongside brothers, Jonathan, Roswell, and Jehiel. at the Battle of Wyoming in 1778. [3] John and Jonathan died during the battle.

This John does not appear to have married or had children, so he does not appear in DAR or SAR databases.
