Biography
Fannie Frankling was born 1842[1] in Kentucky.[2][3]
She married Francis P. Goddard on 22 Mar 1876 in Knox County, Illinois.[3]
In 1880 Fannie is living in Abingdon, Knox County, Illinois and a Benjamin Goddard age 11 born in Illinois is living with her. He is probably a son of her husband Francis P. Goddard by a previous marriage as she and Francis had only been married 4 years by this time. By 1900 a widowed Fannie has fallen on hard times and is a pauper in the Knox County Alms House in East Galesburg, Illinois.[4] By 1910 she has been admitted to the Peoria State Hospital in Limeston, Peoria County, Illinois.[5]
Fanie died on 10 Aug 1919 in Limestone Township, Peoria County, Illinois, likely at the aforementioned State Hospital,[6] and is buried in Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg, Knox County, Illinois.[1][7]
