Hannah (Franklin) Cole was born in Northamptonshire, England.

Hannah Franklin was born at Ecton, Northamptonshire, England on March 25, 1683, daughter of Josiah Franklin and Anne Child. [1][2]

Hannah Franklin married first, Joseph Eddy, by about 1699. [1] [2]

Hannah married second, Thomas Cole, at Boston on June 22, 1710. [3] [1] [2]

Hannah had no issue. [1]

Thoms Cole & Hannah Eddy, Int. reads [Thomas] [Eadey] married by Rev. Mr. Eben'r Pemberton Presbyterian on June 22, 1710. (p. 27) [3]

Christening record shows Hanah Franklin, daughter of Josiah Franklin and Anne Child, Christened on June 2, 1683 in Banbury, Oxford, England. [4]

Conflict': RE Eddy husband: Josh/Joseph Biographies relating to Benj. Franklin all indicate Hannah married Joseph or Jos.h. Eddy. Only references to Benjamin Eddy are found in biographies by Charles Banks."

: Banks, Charles E.: The History of Martha's Vineyard, Vol. II, George.H. Dean, Publisher, Boston, Massachusetts, 1911 (p. 50) Indicates a Benjamin Eddy, son of John and Hepsibah Eddy, had a wife Hannah ___, and in his last Will at Boston, he left wife Hannah executrix of all his property and presumably the long term care of his parents in 1709, which she transferred to their grandson John Manter. (Dukes Probate I: 27) It is presumed in this text, that this is the same Hannah that married Thomas Cole.
