Biography

Millard was born in 1892. He passed away in 1977. He is described as being of medium height and slender build, with black hair and black eyes. He served in military in WWI in the Rainbow Division.

Curt Franklin recalled a story told to him about the birth of his Uncle Millard. When Millard was born his grandfather, William H. Franklin tried to throw him into the fire. All the women quickly gathered and begged him not to do it. He then changed his mind and gave the baby back to the women. In 1977 he was living at 317 Stewart Street in Andalusia, AL. He is buried in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery, Andalusia, Covington county, Alabama.
