DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Jim by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
Y-chromosome DNA test-takers in his direct paternal line on WikiTree:
Franklin-4359 and Franklin-4092 appear to represent the same person because: same birth, spouse (listed as his mother on one), children (listed as siblings on one of the profiles), death
His "siblings" are probably actually his children based on their DOB. Once that is cleared up, this profile can probably be merged with Franklin-4092. These profiles have the same birth and death, and 4092 is the father of these children.
Franklin-9101 and Franklin-4092 appear to represent the same person because: These two are definitely the same person. Please merge as only one profile per person is allowed. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Cousin Lisa (yes, this proves we are cousins and you are part of the FY02 Franklin group in the Franklin Y DNA project--we would LOVE for you to do a Y DNA test in our project for your Franklin branch!!) Thanks cuz!
