COURTNEY— FRANKS A very quiet and select wedding was solemnised at St. Matthews Church on Wednesday afternoon about 5 o'clock by the Rev. Canon Spencer. The contracting parties were Mr. Joseph Courtney, of Bolga, and Miss Violet May Franks, of Tallangatta. The young bride looked handsomely dressed in an ivory white brocade, with veil, wreath, and shower bouquet. Miss Franks, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, and looked quite charming in a white faille silk dress, trimmed with heliotrope silk, white lace, and hat to match. Mr. T. Courtney, brother of the bridegroom, had the extreme felicity of giving the bride into his brother's charge. The party, who have been staying at Petch's Club Hotel for the last few days, left for Tallangatta on Thursday afternoon.
