Biography

Simon married Catherine Gunn daughter of Gilbert Gunn and his wife Ann. He was a weaver in Edinburgh. ^[1]

Research Notes

Simon and Catherine were married on the same day as James Fraser and Margaret Gunn. This could be a case of two brothers marrying two sisters. So far I haven't found parents for a James and Simon Fraser except in Nigg. There is a baptismal record of both a Simon (20 Apr 1787) and James (16 Mar 1794) in the Nigg Associate Church. ^[2]
