Biography
Robert was born about 1852 or 1853 at Watervale. He was the son of James Fraser and Nancy.[1]
Robert was enumerated in New Lairg district with his parents and siblings in 1871.[2]
On 10 November 1874, Robert Sutherland Fraser married Agnes Watson Archibald at Waterville.. At the time, Robert was a merchant at Truro, Colchester, and Agnes was living at Watervale, Pictou.[1]
Research Notes
Their marriage was registered in Colchester County, however Waterville is in Kings County. If Waterville is not a small location in Colchester, it's possible that "Waterville" was a typo for "Watervale" in Colchester, where both Robert and Agnes' families lived.
