Alexander[I believe this should read Colin; see Colin's profile], brother of Bishop Fraser, was married and had the following issue: Jane married to John MacLean, St. Joseph's; Ellen married to William Fraser, Lower South River; MARGARET married to Hugh MacKillop, Mabou; Eliza died young; another daughter was married to William Chisholm, Heatherton.
Hugh was married to a Miss Fraser of Antigonish by whom he had one daughter who is married in that county.
Hugh MacKillop, son of pioneer Alexander, was first married to JANE (or MARGARET) Fraser, a niece of Bishop William Fraser, and had issue: 1. Margaret, 2. Elizabeth, and 3. Anne. He was married, the second time, to Mary Campbell, daughter of Archibald "Brewer", of North East Mabou, with issue: 4. Donald Hugh, 5. Donald Angus, 6. Archie, 7. Alex, 8. Murdock, and 9. Jessie. See p. 289, and Rankin, p. 134.
