William David was born in 1786. He is the son of Micajah Frasher and Susannah Hamilton. He was most likely born in Pittsylvania County, Virginia because the records for his father, Micajah, indicate that is where they lived at the time. In his deposition for his application for his Revolutionary War Pension (which is quoted secondarily in Micajah's Find A Grave Memorial), Micajah indicates that sometime after his marriage to Susannah Hamilton, Micajah and his family moved to Pittsylvania County Virginia where they remained for three years. He passed away in 1851.
