In 1910, Charles was 19 years old and living with his parents, Levi and Emma Frazier, in Mill Hall, Clinton County, PA. He was working as a butcher. As Levi was also a butcher, it is likely that he worked in the family business. Clyde evidently moved to the Pittsburgh area, as he registered for the draft from there in 1917-1918, and also appeared in the 1920 Census as a single man, boarding with a family, and working as a conductor on the steam railroad.
