Thoburn (Theodore or Ted) Frazier was the son of Samuel Frazier, Jr. and his Samuel Jr.'s first wife, who is unverified to this researcher.

In 1920 he is found at age 9 in the household of his father Samuel Frazier, Jr. and Samuel's second wife Mary Garrett. Samuel and Mary were married in 1915 and divorced about 1927. Mary resumed living under her maiden name and never remarried.

In 1926 and 1928 Thoburn is listed as a student in the city directory for Zanesville, living with his father Samuel Frazier, Jr., in the household of his grandparents Samuel & Rosa Belle Welsh Frazier, Sr. His father's second wife Mary Garrett is in the household in 1926, but is gone by 1928.

Thoburn married Esther Mason, daughter of Haze & Nellie Mason, on 24 Jun 1930 in Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia. Together they had three children:

By 1940, Thoburn "Ted" Frazier had apparently left the family as Esther is found married with children on the 1940 census record for Zanesville. Ted is not listed. Esther filed for divorce on 1 Oct 1947 in Zanesville, Ohio. Esther then remarried to Robert H. Densmore on 21 Feb 1949 in Philo, Muskingum, Ohio.

His father Samuel Frazier Jr.'s Sept 1954 obituary lists him as "Surviving are a son Theodore, a sister Blanche Pierce..."

On 1 Dec 1954 Esther published a notification of suit/child support against Thoburn aka Ted Frazier, (whereabouts unknown), in a Zanesville, Ohio newspaper. On 7 Nov 1956 he is found listed as Thoburn Frazier (whereabouts unknown) in court proceedings for the estate of Margaret Frazier (his great-aunt). Next, a probate case is filed for the estate of Thoburn Frazier on 19 Sep 1959 in Zanesville, Ohio. The probate case indicated that Thoburn Frazier had been missing for 11 years (since 1948). Thoburn Frazier was presumed deceased and his estate settled in Zanesville, Ohio, as reported in The Times Recorder on 2 Feb 1960 - Page 12.
