Biography

Benjamin was born on 6 August 1879 in Philadelphia, Pa. He was the 5th son and 8th child of William West Frazier and Harriet Morgan Harrison. He graduated from the Univ. of Pennsylvania in 1900 with a degree of A.B. He was a banker. He married Christine Sibley on 3 January 1903. He belonged to the following clubs or associations: Rittenhouse, St. Anthony, and Huntington Valley Country Clubs. He was an officer of the First Troop Philadelphia city cavalry. Together, they had three children: Benjamin West, Christine, and Sarah Ann Frazier.[1]Prior to his death on 20 December 1968 and burial at St. James the Less Episcopal Churchyard[2], he and his wife were living at 220 W. Evergreen Ave, Chestnut Hill.[3]

1968 records of Benjamin West Frazier and his sister: Helen West Frazier Brinley both lived in an apartment at 220 W. Evergreen Ave. And, just around the corner, Helen's sister-in-law Mary Frothingham Brinley Muir lived at 212 W. Highland Ave., Chestnut Hill.[4]
