Christian was born about 1848 in Denmark. [1]

On 30 Apr 1873 at Vissenbjerg, Odense, Denmark, he married wife Anne Johanne.[2]

They emigrated to Canterbury, New Zealand on the Cardigan Castle sailed 23 Aug 1873.[3]

He passed away 14 Aug 1928 at Akaroa.[1][4] [5] He is buried at Akaroa Anglican Cemetery. [6]

Research Notes

In his wife's obituary it says he married her in 1854 and they emigrated that year, although that must be incorrect.

  • Executors: William Gilbert Dalglish and Alexander Archibald Macphail, farmers of Le Bons Bay.
  • Daughter: Anne Catherine Mora - receives a house in Percy St, Akaroa.
  • Daughter: Agnes Mould
  • Granddaughter: Florence Kathleen Bailey.
  • He requests a gravestone for him and his late wife.
  • Died 14 Aug 1928 at Akaroa.

Fredericksen-92 and Fredericksen-88 appear to represent the same person because: His will (1928) names Agnes Mould and Anne Catherine Mora as daughters, so these must be the same person
