Biography

Bruce Allen Freeburg, age 63, of Brainerd, died Sunday, July 28, 2002, at Bethany Good Samaritan Home. A Funeral Service for Mr. Freeburg will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 31, at the Brenny Funeral Chapel, Baxter, with Pastor Brian Kimbler of Remnant Ministry Center officiating. Visitation will be held at the chapel one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Camp Ripley, with military honors provided by Brainerd American Legion Post #255 Color Guard. Bruce Freeburg was born on September 25, 1938, to Einer and Margaret (Lindblom) Freeburg. He served his country as a Private First Class in the Army. He was a machinist, painter and landscaper. A member of the Remnant Ministry Center congregation and the Machinists? Union, Bruce loved fishing and fixing televisions.

Mr. Freeburg is survived by son Tyrone Freeburg of Nisswa, brother Jon (Yvonne) Freeburg of Brainerd, sisters Peggy Anderson of New Brighton and Nancy (Mel) Thompson of Las Vegas, NV, uncle Donald Freeburg, aunt Eleanor Freeburg, many nieces and nephews and special niece Brooke.
