Jane Freeman was the daughter and heiress of Ralph Freeman, Clothworker of Aspenden in Hertfordshire and Lord Mayor of London in 1633/4 [1] and his wife, Joan Crowch.[2]
She went to her husband, Sir George Sondes, son of Richard Sondes and his wife, Susanna Montagu, [1]with 10,000 marks. They were married on the 10th of September 1620. [3] She bore her husband 3 sons. [1]Their first son, Freeman, was born in 1629 and baptised at St Bartholemew Layston on Hertforshire on the 1st of September. He died in 1634 and was buried at St Bartholemew on the 3rd of September. [2] Their other sons were George and another Freeman. [2]
Jane died in 1637. [4]
