Biography
Michael was born in 1765. He passed away in 1835. [1] He married Elizabeth Duncan on 3 Jan 1792 and they had 9 known children. They, along with Michael's brother Joseph and his family, moved to Ohio in 1797.
Research Notes
There is confusion regarding Michael's date of birth. The Steen book, referenced below, gives a date of birth of 8 Jun 1765. However, his brother Joseph's tombstone computes to a date of birth of 8 Feb 1765 -- clearly an impossibility. They were both baptized in a Church of England near Queenstown, MD. Research into their records (if they still exist) should clear it up.
