Biography

Daniel was the second son of Andrew Freeman and Mary Shotwell. He married Phebe Swayze, daughter of Joseph Swayze and ?, on January 4th, 1794. The following children are listed in the book "Early History of the Freeman Family":

Rev. Daniel Freeman was the minister of the first Methodist church / meeting place in Ancaster village (Upper Canada) that was established in 1813 ^[1].

Daniel Freeman died in April 1835 (either April 10th or 16th).
