Biography

Henry was baptised in Slinfold on 23 January 1736 the son of Henry and Jane Freeman.^[1]

Henry Freeman married Elizabeth Scragg in Rudgwick in 1761. Both were inhabitants of the parish.^[2]

Henry and Elizabeth had four children.

1. John Freeman - christened in Slinfold on 13 September 1761
2. Henry - christened Rudgwick on 10 June 1764
3. James Freeman was christened in Rudgwick on 17 August 1766
4. William Freeman - christened on 16 April 1769 in Slinfold, Sussex

Henry died in 1815 aged 78 and was buried in Slinfold on 13 July 1815.^[3]
