Are we sure his middle name has a "t" in it? I am asking so I can submit corrections and suggestions to all other public sites as well as to his spouse's profile. Every source I have for "John" "John W." or "J.W." Freeman / Freemon is listed exactly as I quoted and frustratingly none list his full name. I was just reading all of the various Censuses for he and his wife and search for clues and the closet I found was where another claimed direct descendant says his name was John William Freeman. I'm not sure your relation to him, we are either 13 steps apart through his marriage or, if you look at her page, she and I are "10th cousins, 5 times removed" so clearly the two are not equally connected!

John Freeman and Hulda Moss Freeman had another daughter, Mattie L. Freeman, born 1888 in Talking Rock, Pickens Co., Georgia. She married Columbus C. Bennett, born 1889. They had one child, Grady Bennett. Columbas and Matti are buried by side of her parents in the Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Talking Rock, Pickens Co., Georgia. I live about 15 miles from their cemetery. And, have visited there many time.
Columbus and Grady are living in the household of John Freeman in the 1900 Pickens County Ga. Federal Census.
