Frederick was born 25 November 1880 in New Zealand. He was the son of James Freeman and Eliza Stupple. [1]
The family moved to Melbourne around 1886; although Frederick seems to have then returned to New Zealand.
On 9 July 1907 at Sacred Heart, Hill St, Wellington, he married Ellen Garren Humphries, eldest daughter of P. Doran, Blenheim. [2] [3]
He passed away in 1935 age 54. [4]
The marriage notice says "Eldest son of J. L. Freeman, Melbourne" although considering his father did live in Melbourne , the "L." is probably a typo.
The name is spelt "Julian" on birth reg and earlier electoral rolls; and "Julien" on later rolls and death reg.
