Biography
May Pike Freestone was a hosiery winder and housewife from Leicester.
May was born out of wedlock to John Pike and Annie Elizabeth Freestone in 1898[1]. Her parents married shortly after and they lived in Northgate Street, Leicester[2]. Following the death of May's father in 1905, her mother remarried. In 1911, they were all living in Northumberland Street, Leicester[3].
On December 11th 1920, May married John William Kindleysides[4].
May passed away on August 23rd 1939[5].
