Silas French was born in Huntington, Connecticut on August 27, 1773, and christened in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Huntington on August 29, 1773. He was the son of Joseph French and Charity Beardsley.
Silas married Anna Curtis in Southbury, Connecticut on December 22, 1794.
Silas died in Wakeman, Ohio on May 29, 1842, and was buried in Wakeman Township Cemetery.[1]
