Valerie Violet Gwendoline French was born on 13 February 1909 in South Africa, her father, Edward, was 25, and her mother, Eleila, was 24.
She married Baron Victor Henry Peter Brougham in Westminster, London on 21 April 1931. Their marriage was registered in Westminster, London in the second quarter of 1931[1]. They had one son together.
Valerie then married Philip Leyland Kindersley on 26 November 1936. Their marriage was registered in Westminster, London in the fourth quarter of 1936. (Victoria was transcribed in the index books twice: one under her maiden name, [2], and once under her married name [3]).
She died on 18 July 1997 in Swindon, Wiltshire, at the age of 88.
