Eatonton - Services for Charlotte Jackson will be private. Jackson, 82, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, in a Macon hospital. Born in Norwood, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Emil French and the late Alice Black French. She had lived in Jackson for 14 years before moving to Eatonton seven months ago. She was a self-employed artist.
Survivors include her daughters Erin Cooper of Covington, Patricia Fowler of Eatonton, Sheila Stroup of Auburn, and Kathleen Harper of Jackson; sons Dion Ireland of Locust Grove and Michael Ireland of Crystal River, Fla.; sister Agnes Gay of North Carolina; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family may be contacted at the residence 310 Little River Trail, Eatonton. Bridges Funeral Home, Gray, has charge of arrangements.
