His marital status was not noted. She was a spinster. He was from Bay Roberts, she was from "St John's Nfld". w. Richard Angel, John Churchill.

Note

There is a discrepancy between his birth record (Harbour Grace) and marriage record (Bay Roberts); and the residence of his parents at time of marriage (Bay Roberts). I'm assuming the birth records are inaccurate, and the family was resident in Bay Roberts the whole time. This seems to be the logic followed by the French Family Association^[3].
