Biography

Harriot French was christened on 13 October 1822 in Leonard Stanley, Gloucestershire^[1] to William French and Elizabeth Nichols.

She was living in Main street, Leonard Stanley, Gloucestershire in 1841^[2].

She married Aaron Blanch Clark on 17 August 1845 in Leonard Stanley,Gloucester^[3]. They had several children together.

In 1851 she was working as a Cloth Picker living still in Leonard Stanley^[4] continuing in the same line of work in 1861^[5].

She was still living in Leonard Stanley working as a Woolen Cloth Worker in 1871^[6] and in 1881^[7].

The children had all moved out by 1891^[8].
