Jennie was born in 1861. She was the daughter of Frederick French and Hannah Ripley. She passed away in 1930.

Death record says she lived in Bennington for 60 years (from 1870).
Obit says she moved from Hoosic to Bennington as a small child and received her education in Benington public schools. She lived with her daughter after her husband died. Member of Second Congregational Church.
