Rhoda French [name appears only in caption of F-A-G for David French]
Notably, Abiathar and his sister Dorothy became mutual brother/sister-in-law upon Dorothy's marriage to Jehiel Alvord in June of 1778. These families moved together to the wilderness of northeastern Ohio, probably about 1800, becoming some of the earliest settlers of that region.
Abiathar French Jr. died probably in what is now Lake County, Ohio. The date of his death is not known, according to a wide ranging account appearing in his online memorial site [6].
