Biography
Johann "John" was born in 1739. He passed away in 1787. He was the son of Jacob French (1700–1760) and Maria Barbara Franckenstein (1705–1774), who married on 28 November 1724, in Essingen, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany.
John married Maria Barbara [Barbel] Jackson and they had the following children:
Maria Elizabeth French Schmeiss About 1760 – 1816
Peter Frantz French Sr. 1770–1849
George Charles French 19 September 1775 – 24 May 1857
John French 19 September 1775 – June 1858
