Biography
First marriage was on September 24, 1843 in Greene County, Tennessee, "Jabez" W.N. Kelley to Lavina Freshour. The marriage rites were solemnized by Rev. George Easterly. Second marriage was Lavina Kelley to James Madison "Matt" Cundiff on Mar 4, 1847 per Greene County, Tennessee Marriage Records. She was the mother of 12 children, 9 of whom were still living in 1900. She attended Cedar Creek Free Will Baptist Church prior to her death. Her parents were reportedly born in Pennsylvania. They were John and Mary Magdalena "Mollena" (Peters) Freshour.
