Margaret (Froschauer) Nees, wife of Michael Nees, moved to Cass County, Indiana, where Michael died in 1849. Margaret is found in the 1850 census of Cass Township, Clay County, Indiana with a misspelling of her married name - Niece. That census states that she was born in Pennsylvania.[1] lies at rest at the Wilkinson-Nees Cemetery in Poland, Clay County, Indiana. Her very legible gravestone describes her as the wife of Michael Nees, and he is buried there as well.[2]
