Eric Frew was born in New South Wales, Australia

Eric George Frew was born at Picton, NSW on 13 November 1901, the son of Margaret Meharg and Robert Frew.^[1] Margaret and Robert's other children included

1. James Henry Frew (1894-1895),
2. Robert John Frew (1895-1915),
3. Millicent Olive (Frew) Rodley (1897-1995),
4. William Charles Frew (1898-1983),
5. Samuel Hamilton Frew (1905-1969),
6. David Cecil Frew (1909-1976), and
7. Emily Phoebe (Frew) Magennis (1911-1999).

Eric George Frew, son of Margaret Meharg and Robert Frew, married Avis Irene Fullford, daughter of Ethel Best and Gordon Fullford, in Sydney on 9 November 1921.^[2] They had three children.

Eric's son Flight Sergeant Robert Gordon Frew was a member of the crew of aircraft A16-203 that departed Hughes air force base on 3 April 1944 as part of a patrol over allied shipping in the Arafura Sea. The aircraft failed to return. All five members of the crew were listed as Killed in Action.

Eric's wife Avis passed away in 1956.^[3]

Eric George Frew passed away at Epping on 21 April 1974.^[4][5]
